Coach Neva Daniels opened N. GA Reign Gymnastics Center in 2017 with over 38 years of coaching experience. Coach Daniels started her gymnastics and dance training early at the age of 5 years old. She began dancing and acrobatics, then transitioned into gymnastics at TAG Gymnastics in her hometown: Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Moving to Naples, Florida when she was 9, she found a new gym to call home.
Coach Daniels left competitive gymnastics to cheer for the competitive high school cheer team. She was on the Lely High School Co-Ed Cheer Team that had several TV and Radio appearances due to placing 5th and the highest place finish in Collier County history to this day, 2nd in the nation at UCA Co-Ed Nationals. These successes lead to her working with UCA and NCA Summer Camps. During her freshman year of high school, Coach Daniels was offered a teach position at the young age of 14 with the USA Gymnastics Hall of Fame Coach Pat Yeager, where her love of coaching gymnastics began. Coach Daniels trained under Pat and Nikki Yeager for 9 years up until his passing in 1994. She was also trained by, and worked for, the famous late Craig Smith, who built and opened Naples Progressive Gymnastics Center, for 15 years. There she coached the All Star Cheerleading Team, tumbling classes, trampoline classes and gymnastics teams.
Coach Daniels started coaching high school cheerleading at the early age of 19, as the head coach at the largest high school in town at the time, and worked in the Collier County School system both in and out of the classroom for 16 years. Coach Daniels was the Head Cheer Coach for 18 years, with her longest stay as the Head Coach of the largest high school in Collier County for 12 years: Gulf Coast High School. During this time, she was also sought after to teach dance and acrobatics for various dance companies in the area. This was a part of teaching she was very fond of. After taking time away from coaching gymnastics, she returned to coaching competitive gymnastics at Gymnastics World of Naples and lead the Level 3 & 4 competition teams to numerous first place individual and first place team finishes. Coach Daniels moved to Georgia in 2014 after the sudden passing of her mother to help take care of her family. Coach Daniels worked at Gymnastics World of Georgia and Habersham Gymnastics before opening N. GA Reign Gymnastics Center in August, 2017. Coach Daniels wanted to bring her 38 years of coaching experience to teach proper technique in gymnastics, tumbling and cheerleading in a safe and positive environment while also providing the community with the fun, engaging sports she has come to love.
